Today’s guest is Jason Kelley. Jason is the Associate Director of Digital Strategy at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, focusing on how privacy and surveillance impact digital liberties. Before joining EFF, Jason managed marketing strategy and content for a software company that helps non-programmers learn to code, and advertising and marketing analytics for a student loan startup.
Danny O’Brien has been an activist for online free speech and privacy for over 20 years. In his home country of the UK, he fought against repressive anti-encryption law and co-founded the Open Rights Group. He is now the Director of Strategy at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) where he supervises medium and long-term strategy with an eye to maintaining the organization’s global impact and reputation.
